Terms of service
General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope of Application and Product Information
1.a. Applicability
By ticking the box “I have read and accept the General Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy,” the customer agrees to these General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and is bound by them. Deliveries, services, and offers by Ticket to the Moon are made exclusively on the basis of these GTC. Any deviating or conflicting terms and conditions of the customer shall not be recognized unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Any act of performance by Ticket to the Moon shall not be deemed acceptance of conditions deviating from these GTC.
1.b. Essential Characteristics of the Goods
Ticket to the Moon offers products for sale through its webshop, including but not limited to hammocks, hammock accessories, tarps, quilts, blankets, bug nets, ridgelines, carabiners, ropes and straps, backpacks, sling bags, eco bags, travel cubes, wash bags, duffle bags, hanging chairs, and other outdoor or travel-related gear.
2. Order Process and Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of goods in the webshop does not constitute a legally binding offer by Ticket to the Moon, but rather an invitation to the customer to submit an offer by placing an order.
The order process takes place in the following steps:
-
Selection of the desired goods
-
Entry of customer data required for the webshop order process, including first name, last name, street and house number, postal code, city, country, email address, and telephone number. After initial registration, only login with username and password is required.
-
Display of pre-contractual consumer information in accordance with applicable consumer protection law
-
Selection of shipping method and payment method
-
Review of the shopping cart contents
-
Confirmation by clicking the button “Place Order”
-
Final review and, if necessary, correction of entered data
-
Submission of the binding order
By submitting the order through the webshop, the customer makes a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract for the goods contained in the shopping cart. By submitting the order, the customer acknowledges that the pre-contractual consumer information and these GTC shall exclusively govern the legal relationship with Ticket to the Moon.
Ticket to the Moon confirms receipt of the customer’s order by sending an order confirmation email. This confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance of the offer. The contract is concluded only upon dispatch of the goods or through an explicit declaration of acceptance.
3. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
3.1 Right of Withdrawal
Customers who are consumers within the meaning of applicable consumer protection law may withdraw from a distance contract or an off-premises contract within fourteen (14) calendar days, unless a statutory exception applies.
3.2 Withdrawal Period
The withdrawal period is fourteen calendar days.
For contracts involving the sale of goods, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.
If multiple goods ordered in one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer who is not the carrier, takes possession of the last item.
It is sufficient for the customer to send the withdrawal notice within the withdrawal period.
3.3 Exercise of Withdrawal
The withdrawal may be declared informally by email to: contact@ticketothemoon.com
3.4 Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
-
goods that have already been opened and are not suitable for return for hygiene or similar reasons,
-
goods made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs,
-
goods that are not suitable for return due to their nature,
-
goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly or whose expiration date would be exceeded.
3.5 Return Inspection and Condition of Goods
Returned goods will be inspected by Ticket to the Moon upon receipt. If signs of use, damage, or contamination are identified that impair resaleability, the refund may be reduced by an appropriate cleaning fee or depreciation amount.
Returns may only be sent to the following address:
Ticket to the Moon
JALAN BATU SANGIAN VI NO.10, KUTA UTARA,
BALI - INDONESIA (80361)
PHONE: +62 361 419 288
3.6 Consequences of Withdrawal
If the consumer validly withdraws from the contract:
-
Ticket to the Moon shall reimburse all payments received from the consumer, including standard delivery costs, excluding any additional costs arising from the consumer choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered.
-
The consumer must return the goods within 14 days from the date of withdrawal.
-
The consumer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.
4. Prices, Shipping Costs, Import Rules, and Payment Terms
4.1 Prices and Shipping Costs
Prices are displayed in the webshop. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices for business transactions are net prices excluding VAT. Prices shown to end consumers include VAT where applicable.
Shipping costs are not included in the product prices unless explicitly stated. Shipping is charged separately to the customer based on actual shipping costs plus, where applicable, a reasonable handling fee.
4.2 Import, Customs, and Export Regulations
The customer is responsible for observing the import, customs, and other applicable legal regulations of the destination country. The customer bears all risks and consequences arising from unlawful shipment abroad, non-compliance with foreign import regulations, transit regulations, customs requirements, incorrect or incomplete customs declarations, or any breach of export regulations.
It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain information from the relevant authorities, embassies, chambers of commerce, or other competent institutions before placing the order.
4.3 Payment Terms
Accepted payment methods are those displayed in the webshop at checkout.
Prepayment / Bank Transfer
If payment is made by bank transfer, the customer must make payment within 14 days after receiving the order confirmation. Goods will only be shipped after full payment has been received.
Invoice
Payment by invoice is available only for business transactions and only where expressly agreed. Invoices are sent by email.
For first-time business orders, Ticket to the Moon reserves the right to require payment in advance. Subsequent orders may be supplied against invoice with a payment term of 30 days net, subject to prior payment behavior.
Ticket to the Moon reserves the right to deliver only against advance payment where a customer has shown poor payment behavior.
Any bank charges for international transfers outside SEPA shall be borne by the customer. The full invoice amount must arrive in the account of Ticket to the Moon.
4.4 Default Interest and Administrative Fees
In the event of late payment, Ticket to the Moon is entitled to claim statutory default interest:
-
4% per annum for consumers
-
9.2 percentage points above the base interest rate for businesses
In the event of repeated late payment, an administrative fee of EUR 5 may be charged. If collection proceedings are initiated, the customer shall bear all resulting costs.
Ticket to the Moon is also entitled to charge compound interest from the date the goods are handed over where legally permissible.
4.5 Reminder and Collection Costs
The customer undertakes to reimburse Ticket to the Moon for all necessary reminder and collection costs incurred in enforcing payment claims. In business transactions, this includes a lump sum of EUR 40 for collection costs in accordance with applicable law. Further claims remain unaffected.
5. Acceptance Default
If the customer fails to accept the goods as agreed, Ticket to the Moon may, after granting a reasonable grace period, either:
-
store the goods itself and charge a storage fee of 0.1% of the gross invoice amount per calendar day, or
-
arrange storage with an authorized commercial storage provider at the customer’s cost and risk.
At the same time, Ticket to the Moon may either insist on performance of the contract or withdraw from the contract after setting an additional reasonable grace period of at least two weeks and dispose of the goods elsewhere.
6. Delivery Terms
Ticket to the Moon is only obliged to perform once the customer has fulfilled all obligations required for execution of the order.
Unless otherwise stated in the order confirmation, Ticket to the Moon will dispatch the goods within 6 working days after receipt of payment.
Ticket to the Moon is entitled to exceed agreed delivery periods by up to one week. Only after expiry of this period may the customer withdraw from the contract after granting a reasonable grace period.
7. Minor Changes in Performance
In business transactions, minor or otherwise objectively justified changes to the performance or delivery obligation shall be deemed approved in advance. This applies in particular to deviations customary in trade or caused by the nature of the goods, such as differences in dimensions, colors, packaging, finish, or smell.
8. Damages
Any claims for damages are excluded in cases of slight negligence, except for personal injury or, in consumer transactions, damage to items accepted for processing.
The burden of proof for slight or gross negligence lies with the injured party, unless the transaction is a consumer transaction.
Any provisions in these GTC or otherwise agreed provisions on damages also apply where claims for damages are asserted in addition to or instead of warranty claims.
9. Retention of Title
All goods are delivered subject to retention of title and remain the property of Ticket to the Moon until full payment has been received.
Assertion of retention of title does not constitute withdrawal from the contract unless expressly declared.
In the event of repossession, Ticket to the Moon is entitled to charge transport and handling costs incurred.
If third parties access goods subject to retention of title, in particular through seizure, the customer must point out Ticket to the Moon’s ownership and notify Ticket to the Moon immediately.
Where the customer is a consumer, or not a reseller in the ordinary course of business, the customer may not dispose of the reserved goods before full payment has been made, especially not by selling, pledging, giving away, or lending them.
The customer bears the full risk for the reserved goods, especially the risk of destruction, loss, or deterioration.
10. Withdrawal by Ticket to the Moon
In the event of default of acceptance or other important reasons, especially payment default by the customer, Ticket to the Moon may withdraw from the contract if it has not yet been fully performed by both parties.
If Ticket to the Moon withdraws from the contract, it may demand either:
-
lump-sum damages amounting to 15% of the gross invoice amount, or
-
compensation for the actual damage suffered.
In case of payment default, Ticket to the Moon is released from any further delivery and performance obligations and may withhold outstanding deliveries or services, demand advance payments or securities, or withdraw from the contract after granting a reasonable grace period.
If the customer unjustifiably withdraws from the contract or requests its cancellation, Ticket to the Moon may either insist on performance or agree to cancellation. In the latter case, the customer shall pay either 15% lump-sum damages or compensation for actual damage, at the choice of Ticket to the Moon.
11. Data Protection, Address Changes, and Copyright
The customer agrees that personal data contained in the purchase contract may be stored and processed automatically by Ticket to the Moon for the purpose of contract performance.
Data will not be passed on to third parties except where necessary for contract fulfillment or where legally required.
The customer must notify Ticket to the Moon of any change of residential or business address as long as the contractual relationship has not been fully performed by both parties. If such notification is omitted, declarations sent to the last known address shall be deemed delivered.
Plans, sketches, technical documents, samples, catalogs, brochures, illustrations, and similar materials remain the intellectual property of Ticket to the Moon. The customer acquires no exploitation or usage rights of any kind unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
12. Right of Retention
In business transactions, in the event of justified complaints, the customer is not entitled to retain the entire gross invoice amount, but only an appropriate part thereof, except in the case of withdrawal from the contract.
13. Place of Performance, Language, Governing Law, and Jurisdiction
The place of performance is the registered office of Ticket to the Moon.
The contract language is English. A German version may be provided for convenience; however, the legally binding version shall be the version designated by Ticket to the Moon at the time of contracting.
The parties agree that international law shall apply, excluding the conflict-of-law rules of private international law and excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory rights granted by the law of their habitual residence.
For disputes arising out of this contract, the court having jurisdiction at the registered office of Ticket to the Moon shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
14. Severability
Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid, void, or unenforceable in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
15. Cookies

The storage duration of cookies may vary depending on their purpose. Customers can configure their browser to notify them when cookies are set, to allow cookies only in individual cases, or to block cookies altogether. Disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of the website.
16. Analytics Tools
This website may use local or privacy-conscious analytics tools to better understand and improve website performance. Where such tools are used, data is processed in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy.
17. Final Provisions
All legally relevant declarations based on this contract must be made in writing and sent to the last address communicated by the respective contracting party.
Invoices may be sent by email.
Headings used in these GTC are for convenience only and shall not be used for interpretation.
Assignment of individual rights and obligations under these GTC is only permitted with the express written consent of the other contracting party.
18. Consent to Promotional Messages
The customer agrees that Ticket to the Moon may send messages for advertising and marketing purposes in accordance with applicable telecommunications and data protection law.
This consent may be withdrawn at any time by email to: contact@ticketothemoon.com
